The artwork located in the Botanical Garden of Vienna awakens notions of an once magnificent tree - felled in consequense of a disease. Offering an artistic perspective in a scientifically oriented garden, the "downside up" root of the 100 year old Norway Maple and an earthform surrounding the trees former position draw attention to the now opened space above.
