The Floating Landscapes are one component of a competition entry for the refurbishment of the shopping center Citypark in Graz, developed by ATP Wien Planungs GmbH and Kieran Fraser Landscape Design. A total of 20 hanging and standing objects are proposed. The hanging corian objects carry a mix of Callisia Repens and Soleirolia Soleirolii, the standing objects represent a key furniture element of the Citypark and offer a comfortable resting surface in EPDM rubber. The conceptional backround of the Floating Landscapes originates in the general concept of the comprehensive competition entry, in which scenery is „borrowed“ from the panorama view surrounding the Citypark.
